Our Story
A creation born of play.
Leela Kriti began at a family table, between a father and a daughter who see the world very differently.
For thirty-five years, he built things that had to last: steel plants, automobile lines, cement works. It was a life of exact drawings, honest materials, and the discipline of getting every detail right because nothing less would hold. Later, in procurement, he learned what it takes to find the right material and the right maker, and to never accept "almost".
She trained at the London College of Fashion and spent her early career in fashion marketing and management. She brought an instinct for beauty, for how a piece should feel in the hand and how it should live in a home or on a person.
Between them was a shared belief: that the things we wear and live with deserve the same care as the things we build.
So we made Leela Kriti. In Sanskrit, leela is play and kriti is creation. Every piece begins with her eye and is held to his standard: chosen with intent, examined closely, and made to be kept, not replaced.
We begin with jewellery and will grow into fashion and the home, but slowly, and only with pieces we would choose for our own family.
Fewer things. Made well. Meant to stay.
From our family to yours.
